Solar Panels
Photovoltaic modules sized to the pumps, inverters and lighting we supply. Availability of panels on their own is a separate question — see the note below before you plan around them.
Availability under review. Whether we can offer solar panels as a standalone US order is not settled. Imported modules are exposed to US antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings and to tariff changes that can move both the landed cost and whether a shipment is viable at all, and India-origin modules are squarely in that picture. [TIM/VERIFY: current AD/CVD and tariff exposure for India-origin modules; decide whether panels are offered standalone or only as part of a quoted system.] In the meantime we specify panels as part of a complete pump or power system. Ask us before assuming a panel-only order is possible.
Proven in Burkina Faso
The array that drives everything else. These are the modules we specify alongside the pumps and inverters in this catalog, so the parts match. We are not currently positioning panels as a stock item you order on their own — see the availability note above.
Our sister company, Buy-US Solar SARL, sells and services this class of equipment in West Africa, in heat and dust and without a grid to fall back on. That is the standard we import against. What “field-proven” means here →
Use cases
What people use these for.
- Pump arraysSized to a specific pump and lift, so the water arrives when you need it.
- Off-grid power systemsGround-mount or roof-mount arrays feeding a controller and battery bank.
- ExpansionAdding capacity to a system that has outgrown its original array.
- Remote loadsGates, monitoring, fencing, lighting — anywhere running a wire is the expensive part.

Every value marked [TIM] is a placeholder. Real figures will be published only once they are confirmed against the manufacturer’s datasheet and our own field results. We would rather show you a blank than a number we cannot stand behind.
Questions
Frequently asked
How many panels do I need?
For a pump, it is set by the lift, the daily volume and your location’s sun hours. For a household system it is set by your daily kWh use and how many low-sun days you want to ride through. Send us the load and the location with a quote request and we will size it.
Do panels lose output in heat?
Yes — output falls as cell temperature rises, which is exactly the condition our sister company’s installations run in year-round in Burkina Faso. The temperature coefficient in the spec table is the number that quantifies it for a given module.
Can I mix these with panels I already own?
Within a string, panels should match electrically. Separate strings on separate MPPT inputs are more forgiving. Tell us what you have and we will tell you what will and will not work.
Ground mount or roof mount?
For pumping, ground mount is usually easier to service and easier to aim. Mounting hardware availability: [TIM: do we supply racking, or is the customer sourcing it locally?]
What about tariffs on imported panels?
US tariff treatment of imported solar modules is an area we track closely, and it can move the landed price. Your quote reflects the duty in force at the time we quote it. [TIM/VERIFY: current tariff exposure for India-origin modules.]

Installation is a job for qualified trades. We supply equipment, sizing and the manufacturer’s documentation — not installation. Wiring should be done by a licensed electrician, well and pump work by a licensed well or pump contractor, and permits and inspection are set by your local authority having jurisdiction. Requirements vary by state and county; confirm yours before you order.
