Inverters & Controllers
Off-grid inverters and solar charge controllers, specified for installations where nobody is coming out to service them.
Proven in Burkina Faso
Off-grid inverters and charge controllers — the box between your panels, your batteries and the things you actually want to run.
Our sister company, Buy-US Solar SARL, sells and services this class of equipment in West Africa, in heat and dust and without a grid to fall back on. That is the standard we import against. What “field-proven” means here →
Use cases
What people use these for.
- Off-grid cabins and homesteadsTurn a panel array and a battery bank into ordinary household AC power.
- Well-house and shop powerRun pumps, tools and lighting at an outbuilding with no service drop.
- Backup powerKeep a critical circuit alive when the utility goes down.
- Pump controlCharge controllers and drives sized to run pumping loads directly off the array.
Specifications
What we will publish, once we can prove it.
These are the rows that matter for this category. The values are deliberately blank until they are confirmed.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Continuous output power (W) | [TIM: per model] |
| Surge / peak output (W) | [TIM] |
| Output waveform | [TIM: pure sine / modified sine — confirm per model] |
| Output voltage & frequency | [TIM: confirm 120 V / 60 Hz US models] |
| Nominal DC input voltage | [TIM] |
| DC input voltage range | [TIM] |
| Integrated MPPT charge controller | [TIM: yes/no, and max PV input] |
| Maximum PV input voltage (Voc) | [TIM] |
| Maximum charge current (A) | [TIM] |
| Peak efficiency | [TIM] |
| No-load / idle draw (W) | [TIM] |
| Transfer time (ms) | [TIM: if the model has AC pass-through] |
| Supported battery chemistries | [TIM: lead-acid types, LiFePO4] |
| Protections | [TIM: over/under-voltage, over-temp, short circuit, reverse polarity — confirm per model] |
| Enclosure / ingress rating | [TIM] |
| Cooling | [TIM: convection / fan] |
| Operating temperature range | [TIM] |
| Warranty term | [TIM: months, and what it covers] |
| Safety listings | [TIM: none claimed until we hold the certificate in writing] |
| Country of manufacture | [TIM/VERIFY — pending country-of-origin determination] |
Every value marked [TIM] is a placeholder. Real figures will be published only once they are confirmed against the manufacturer’s datasheet and our own field results. We would rather show you a blank than a number we cannot stand behind.
Questions
Frequently asked
Are these listed for grid-tied use in the US?
We are not making any listing or code-compliance claim on this page. Grid-interactive installation in the US has requirements that an off-grid installation does not, and we will state exactly what each model holds once we hold the paperwork. [TIM: certification status per model — this is also an open item in the business plan.] If your installation needs an inspection sign-off, ask us before you buy.
Pure sine or modified sine?
It matters: motors, pumps, and some electronics are unhappy on a modified sine wave. Waveform is listed per model in the spec table. If you are running a pump or a compressor, tell us and we will steer you to the right one.
What size inverter do I need?
Add up the continuous draw of everything you want to run at once, then check the surge rating against the biggest motor in that list — motor start-up is usually what sizes the inverter. Send us your load list with a quote request.
Can I use my existing batteries?
Usually, if the voltage and chemistry match. Supported chemistries are listed in the spec table. Tell us what you have.
Do you sell the whole system as a package?
We can quote panels, controller, inverter and batteries together so the parts match. We are not an installer and we do not design to code on your behalf.

Installation is a job for qualified trades. We supply equipment, sizing and the manufacturer’s documentation — not installation. Wiring should be done by a licensed electrician, well and pump work by a licensed well or pump contractor, and permits and inspection are set by your local authority having jurisdiction. Requirements vary by state and county; confirm yours before you order.
